Rehab is going, well.. as good as it posibly could. Will end up replacing one addiction with another. But then again it's always that way, even in AA they encourage picking up a new hobby to take your mind of the one you're intending to drop.

I'm watching a lot of movies seeing as it's one of the few things I can do on my dad's computer.. I saw The Illusionist last night with mum because I thought I saw it before. I don't watch new movies here, I preffer to leave out the one's I know have explicit sexual content and so.. But no, I haven't seen this one before, I saw something else and I dunno what. It as something about the rivalrly, rivaly.. rivalry between two magicians. It was good, but I'm not sure I was in the mood to follow all the elaborate plot at that time.
But The Illusionist was really great, good story. good acting, good twist of plot.. I was kinda hoping for that twist actually :D Seemed perfectly fit for it.

Initially I heard about her once and then I heard about her twice and then three times and I was like who the fuck is Hellen Keller? So Wikipedia I went:

Helen Adams Keller (June 27, 1880 – June 1, 1968) was an American author, political activist and lecturer. She was the first deafblind person to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Odyssey, Ceilalti si Magic Fest 2

Vineri 26 martie a avut loc concertul Odyssey si Ceilalti in Club Vox. Concertul a avut ca scop strangerea de fonduri pentru festivalul national de teatru in limba engleza "Magic Fest" infiintat de C.N. Petru Rares.

Invitatii, formatiile: Messiad, Fever's Play, Ceilalti si Odyssey au tinut publicul activ si entuziasmat pe toata perioada concertului, bucurandu-se de multe aplauze si bis-uri.

Concertul a fost deschis chiar de o eleva a colegiului, Sabina Panciuc, castigatoarea concursului pe liceu "Music Star" urmata de Ramona Ceviuc, de asemenea eleva la Petru Rares.

In continuare a cantat trupa rock Messiad, apoi Fever's Play, specializata in rock si punk.

Apoi in aplauzele tuturor pe scena a urcat Topsic, o bine plasata schimbare de gen muzical, hip-hop sucevean, indemnand spectatorii sa se alipeasca complet atmosferei de exaltare.

Ceilalti au sustinut aceasta atmosfera cu piese bine cunoscute de publicul tanar sucevean, acestia cantand la unison cu interpretii, multi cunoscand fiecare cuvant.

Ultimii, dar in nici un caz cei mai putin apreciati, au fost membrii trupei rock si folk Odyssey foarte bine cunoscuti in randurile sucevenilor si in special ai elevilor de la Petru. Trupa a avut si o colaborare cu Ceilalti foarte bine primita de public.

A fost incinsa si o hora, iar membrii trupei au coborat de pe scena dupa mai multe bis-uri si nenumarate aplauze si urale.

In totalitate concertul a fost un succes atat pe plan financiar de strangere al fondurilor pentru o cauza culturala cat si in planul entertainment-ului, o initiativa cu adevarat laudabila din partea unor tineri liceeni.

In continuare va invitam sa luati parte la cea de-a doua editie a festivalului national de teatru in limba engleza "Magic Fest" care va avea loc in sala Dom Polski in perioada 05 - 09 aprilie 2010.

I picked love.
Because religion for example.. I thought of the religious as unwilling to admit the truth that there is no one there. With all that proof.. what can you say?
And I went for love because it gave me that great feeling that religion couldn't. But most importantly: it gave me comfort. Something to believe in.
All that time I thought of myself as being somehow superior to the religious.. The dumb believers. What I didn't understand is that they just chose a different type of comfort.
We all seek it,
It's just a little different for all of us.
And they are all illusions. That make us feel better. Take away that awful feeling of loneliness that is so unbearable for most.
Happiness is there if you manage to ignore the truth, reality, what's going to hit you sooner or later. If you manage to blindly believe in something.

There might be something that looks really white or something that looks really black, but there are only different shades of gray.

That comfort is looked for by most to avoid feeling like they're all alone.
