What its parents did:

"jiffy"
A "jiffy" is an actual unit of time. It is 1/100 of a second.
jiffy.
40-50. nu stiu, ca n'am jiffymetru.
ba nu. mint. imi ia vreo secunda. daca mi'as putea pozitiona degetele in forma de "jiffy" pe tastatura, si sa dau o data, sa apara jiffy.
da da stiu, are doi de f.
noi sa fim fericiti macar un jiffy pe minut.
mai incerc.

Akasha
Akasha (or Akash, Aakaashá, Ākāśa, आकाश) is the Sanskrit word meaning "aether" in both its elemental and mythological senses.
Akasha is the omnipresent incontrovertible transcendent eternal source of all energy, the realm of promise, potential, paths to be walked and the primal source that creates and nourishes the other four elements, Fire, Earth, Air and Water. Akasha is all directions, East, South, West and North and all seasons, Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. It is not limited to three dimensions, Length, Width, and Depth or Height, but is made up of infinite ones comprising all possibilities of movement, both material and spiritual.
It is believed by many modern Pagans that the Akasha, Spirit, is the Fifth Element. Scott Cunningham describes the Akasha as the spiritual force that Earth, Air, Fire, and Water descend from. Some also believe that the combination of the four elements make up that which is Akasha, and that Akasha exists in every living creature in existence; without Akasha, there is no spirit, no soul, no magic.
The Five Elements are worked with to create positive changes on earth. This is done through meditation to bring about beneficial changes in one’s life. Akashan spirituality is holistic.
Practitioners learn to maintain mental and physical health through meditation, exercise, ritual and diet. They are expected to have a profound commitment to their life path.
The upward point of the pentacle, the pentagram or five pointed star within a circle, represents Akasha. The others represent Fire, Earth, Air and Water. While Earth is considered "north"; Fire is "south"; air is "east"; Water is "west", while Akasha is "center".
Anne Rice used the word "Akasha" as the name of the first vampire in her novel "The Queen of the Damned".

We all seek comfort.
In religion, in love, justice, good or evil...
I picked love.
Because religion for example.. I thought of the religious as unwilling to admit the truth that there is no one there. With all that proof.. what can you say?
And I went for love because it gave me that great feeling that religion couldn't. But most importantly: it gave me comfort. Something to believe in.
All that time I thought of myself as being somehow superior to the religious.. The dumb believers. What I didn't understand is that they just chose a different type of comfort.
We all seek it,
It's just a little different for all of us.
And they are all illusions. That make us feel better. Take away that awful feeling of loneliness that is so unbearable for most.
Happiness is there if you manage to ignore the truth, reality, what's going to hit you sooner or later. If you manage to blindly believe in something.
"Pick one, making you better feeling!"
Good and evil?
There might be something that looks really white or something that looks really black, but there are only different shades of gray.
Yourself?
That comfort is looked for by most to avoid feeling like they're all alone.
Love?
Self-inflicted. Conditional.
Religion?
I'm sorry, this logical being needs proof.
So what else is there?
What a shame.. I could've given up sooner.

The muffled thunder of dialogue comes through the walls, then a chorus of laughter. Then more thunder. Most of the laugh tracks on television were recorded in the early 1950s. These days, most of the people you hear laughing are dead.

Remember when:
nothing had a double meaning. Kissing was nasty. Boys had cooties. You were popular if you had a new toy, not if you were a jerk. People liked you if you were nice, not cool. Wearing a skirt didn't make you a slut. There was no such thing as gay. Your friends would always be on your side and nothing would get between you. If you were friends with a boy, it didn't mean you liked him. The only thing you drank was grape juice. Smoking was disgusting. The only things that could get broken were toys and bones. Mommy was your hero. Goodbye meant only till tomorrow. Now look at your life. It's almost the complete opposite. Now here is the funny part. The only thing I remember, was wanting to grow up.
[melancholic moment]
